Position Openings within our Pack

Conservation Event
Saturday, May 16, 2009

Pack 2809 Conservation Event is May 16th at Swift Creek Elementary School.  This is our time to give back to our Chartered Organization and improve our schoolyard habitat.  We'll plant flowers in the butterfly garden, pick-up litter on the school grounds, meet some native snakes from Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, and learn about bluebird houses from the Virginia Bluebird Society.  Please join us from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, May 16th!  For more information, contact Dave Morton at 674-6567.

2009 Arrohattoc District Daycamp
Tuesday, August 4 thru Saturday, August 8, 2009

Explore the Unknown at the 2009 Arrohattoc District Daycamp at Pocahantas State Park.  The cost is $75/week or $25 per day.  Sign up by completing the Application and BSA Medical Form and mail or fax to the council office by July 8, 2009 at Heart of Virginia Council, 4015 Fitzhugh Avenue, Richmond, VA 23230.  Fax:  804-353-6109.  What to bring:  Lunch, Sunscreen, Towel, and a Sense of Fun and Adventure!   We also need chaperones for the cubs.  Any parent interested in chaperoning the camp, please complete the Chaperone Form and mail or fax to the council.   FREE T-Shirt and Water Bottle for all who apply by 4pm on July 8, 2009.  For more information visit:  www.arrohattoc.org
